Hello everyone! My name is Danielle Jackson and I'm from Atlanta, Ga. I was born there and lived there my whole life. I'm a studious junior at the University of West Georgia. My major is Mass Communications and my minor is Marketing. My career interest includes becoming a seasoned broadcast journalist and a producer. My hobbies includes shopping, engaging in social media, and being a production assistant.


A concern that interests me in the media is how females are portrayed in the hip hop videos. Females in the videos are always dressing in skimpy clothing. Normally the number of models exceeds the rappers in the video.  Females are only in the videos because people think that sex sells and that their looks is what makes them as a person.  I also dislike the derogatory lyrics that are used in  videos to degrade women.  Women are more than just sex appeal and looks, we are intelligent human beings that are capable to succeed without just "looks."
